Who We Are:

Dungarvin assists people with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, autism and/or mental health diagnosis in a variety of programs with a focus on person centered practices. We encourage people served to explore their dreams while our employees provide support in making meaningful decisions and providing active treatment at each opportunity.

Schedule: Flexible

( Must be available to work 24 hours in a week split between 3 days Mon-Fri 9a-5p)

Wage: Starting $22.36/hour

Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Maintenance Technician - (Fleet) is responsible for all preventative minor maintenance of all vehicles for our day programs as well as scheduling for repairs, oil changes, etc. This person will be the one to assess the needs of the fleet of vehicles for our programs by running diagnostic testing and conducting minor maintenance of the vehicles. This person will determine if the vehicles need to be sent out to a mechanic for repairs and if additional maintenance/repairs are needed. 

Duties include but are not limited to:

Changing wipers, adding/maintaining fluids, checking tire tread, checking oil, scheduling oil changes, scheduling tire rotation. 

Qualifications

WHAT WE LOOK FOR: 

  • High school diploma, or equivalent
  • One-year experience in vehicle maintenance including general knowledge of vehicles and how they operate.
  • Must possess ability to evaluate cost effectiveness and preventative measures.
  • This person must have good decision-making and communication skills, be responsible, mature, flexibility to be on-call as need, and able to work independently and as a team member.
