Job Description
The case manager supervisor position is designed to fulfill all job duties associated with the case manager job description, monitors and evaluates the case management program, coordinates case management services, and assists persons with disabilities in coordinating services that are needed and desired. The case manager supervisor should function as an educator and a resource. The case manager supervisor is responsible for training and supervising case management staff. This position will participate in management leadership, fiscal responsibilities, and the assurance of quality and compliance. The case manager supervisor participates in the development and implementation of the organization’s Plan, promotes case management services, and participates in committees, conferences, and organizations that influence service delivery.
In conjunction with the case manager department supervisor, monitors and ensures implementation of all company policies and procedures related to personnel and service delivery. Monitors, and implements quality assurance standards that meet regulatory requirements and company standards. The case manager supervisor will always act in a professional manner and understand they represent the interests of the individual they support.
· Starting Salary $60,200.00 - $61,855.50 annually *Listed salary range is based on experience level and may vary depending on an individuals skills and qualifications.
Qualifications
The case manager supervisor must possess:
- A bachelor’s degree in a human service-related field and two years of experience working with individuals with disabilities or aging.
- Knowledge of the local community resources available
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge in case management principles, procedures and practices
- Demonstrates adaptability to performing a variety of duties, occasionally changing from one task to another of a different nature without loss of efficiency or composure
- Ability to negotiate and resolve conflict between dissenting parties
- Ability to conduct detailed analytical evaluations and studies and prepare related reports and recommendations
- A valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance
People employed in this position are expected to meet the qualifications of an unlimited driver. The definition of the driving requirement is:
Unlimited driving position -- defined as one that requires an employee to drive a motor vehicle as a part of her/his Dungarvin work, including vehicles owned or leased by Dungarvin, and/or to drive a vehicle in which a person served is transported.
